MARKETING & DIGITAL AUDIT

Not sure where to start? Start with clarity.

A paid, standalone strategic diagnostic that creates an objective view of your current marketing system—what is working, what is disconnected, where opportunity exists and which next steps deserve priority.

The problem

When the pieces develop separately, the right priority becomes harder to see.

Brand, website, search, content, channels, measurement, vendors and internal resources may all be moving—but not necessarily in the same direction.

Without a connected view, businesses can spend time and budget solving the loudest problem rather than the most important one. The Audit creates the clarity to decide what deserves attention now, what can wait and where effort will matter most.

Fourth & Grace approach

Look across the marketing system before recommending what comes next.

Fourth & Grace reviews the agreed parts of the business together—not as isolated tactics. The goal is not to sell a predetermined service. It is to understand what is happening, why it matters and how the business can move forward with greater focus.

The standard engagement has a defined scope. Larger, multi-brand, multi-location, ecommerce or unusually complex marketing environments may require a custom scope.

Six Audit areas

A connected assessment of the work that shapes the customer experience.

Brand & Messaging

Assess positioning clarity, core messaging, consistency and whether the business is easy for customers to understand.

Website & Customer Journey

Review agreed priority pages, navigation, hierarchy, calls to action, content clarity and obvious conversion friction.

Digital Presence & Search

Review foundational visibility, local presence and available search data where relevant—without implying full technical remediation.

Content & Marketing Activity

Assess representative current content, email, social or campaigns and how well that activity connects to business objectives.

Measurement & Systems

Review available reporting, tracking readiness and whether useful performance signals can currently be understood.

Priorities & Opportunities

Identify what deserves attention now, what should happen next, what can wait, where dependencies exist and who should own the action.

Who this is for

For businesses that need an objective view before making the next marketing decision.

Too many possible next steps

Leadership sees several needs but lacks a clear order of priority.

Growth has outpaced marketing

The business has evolved faster than its brand, website or marketing system.

Disconnected activity

Vendors, channels or internal efforts are active without a shared direction.

An underperforming website

The site no longer supports the customer journey or current business goals.

Unclear investment decisions

The team is unsure whether it needs brand, website, SEO or broader marketing support.

A fresh outside perspective

The business is preparing for growth, repositioning or a significant marketing investment.

How the Audit works

Clear stages. Thoughtful analysis. Practical direction.

01

Discover

Understand the business, audience, objectives, concerns, resources and what prompted the Audit.

02

Review

Assess the agreed brand, website, digital presence, marketing activity and available measurement.

03

Connect

Look across the pieces to identify disconnects, dependencies, patterns and opportunities.

04

Prioritize

Determine what matters now, what can wait and who should own each recommended action.

05

Present

Deliver the written report, NOW / NEXT / LATER roadmap and walk through the findings together.

An objective path forward

The right recommendation is the one that serves the business.

The Audit does not require another Fourth & Grace engagement. A recommendation may appropriately belong with your internal team, Fourth & Grace, an outside specialist or simply not right now.

Clarity first. Implementation only when it is genuinely the right next step.

Frequently asked

A few useful answers.

What do we actually receive?

A written Fourth & Grace Marketing & Digital Audit Report with an executive summary, six-area assessment, major findings, strategic opportunities, prioritized recommendations, a NOW / NEXT / LATER roadmap and recommended ownership—plus one 60-minute findings conversation.

Does the Audit commit us to working with Fourth & Grace?

No. The Audit is a paid standalone diagnostic. Recommendations may belong with your internal team, Fourth & Grace, an outside specialist or no immediate action.

What information or access will you need?

We begin with business objectives, the public website, relevant brand and marketing materials, known priorities and available performance information. When useful, we may request secure read-only access to tools such as GA4, Google Search Console or Google Business Profile. We will not ask you to email passwords.

Is implementation included?

No. The Audit identifies what is happening, why it matters, what should change, what deserves priority and who should own the next action. Website work, brand strategy, SEO remediation, analytics setup, campaigns, content production and ongoing consulting are scoped separately when appropriate.

What happens after the findings are presented?

You leave with a written report and prioritized direction. Your team may act internally, engage Fourth & Grace, bring in another specialist or decide that no immediate action is needed. Any implementation is considered separately.

Is this the same as an SEO audit?

No. Search is one part of a broader strategic review. The Audit looks across brand, website, customer journey, digital presence, current marketing activity, measurement and priorities. It is not a full technical SEO remediation engagement.
